    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    The General Superintendent in heavy civil contracting is responsible for overseeing all field operations on large-scale site-development projects. This role provides leadership to superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and quality standards. The General Superintendent coordinates closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and owners to plan sequencing, manage resources, and resolve field issues efficiently. They also drive a culture of safety, accountability, and performance while mentoring field staff and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • General Superintendent – Soil Stabilization

    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    The General Superintendent – Soil Stabilization oversees all field operations related to soil stabilization, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role provides leadership to superintendents, foremen, and crews, coordinating equipment, materials, subcontractors, and quality control processes across multiple job sites. The General Superintendent works closely with project managers and clients to maintain compliance with specifications, environmental regulations, and safety standards. They are responsible for driving operational excellence, mentoring field staff, and implementing best practices in soil modification, lime and cement treatment, and full-depth reclamation.

  • Assistant Project Manager

    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    An Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil site-development projects. This role assists with budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and document control to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and owners to track progress, manage change orders, and resolve issues efficiently. They also help maintain compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations while developing strong communication and leadership skills within the project team.

  • Foreman - Civil

    A Heavy Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of field crews on infrastructure and site development projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, and earthwork. This role assigns tasks, monitors productivity, and ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans and specifications. The Foreman communicates regularly with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to coordinate scheduling, materials, equipment, and manpower needs. They also enforce safety standards, mentor crew members, and maintain accurate daily reports to support project performance and accountability.

  • Equipment Operator - Civil

    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    A Heavy Civil Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and rollers on infrastructure and site development projects. This role performs precise grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. The Equipment Operator conducts daily equipment inspections, performs basic maintenance, and communicates effectively with supervisors and ground crews to ensure efficient and safe operations. They must maintain strong situational awareness, follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, and contribute to meeting production goals and project schedules.

  • Low Boy Driver

    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    A Low-Boy Driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and oversized machinery to and from construction job sites using specialized low-boy trailers. This role ensures all loads are properly secured, permitted, and compliant with federal, state, and local transportation regulations. The Low-Boy Driver conducts pre- and post-trip inspections, maintains accurate delivery documentation, and coordinates closely with dispatchers and field personnel to meet project schedules. They must demonstrate strong knowledge of load securement, route planning, and safe driving practices while representing the company professionally on public roadways and job sites.

  • Laborer

    Richmond, VA - Full-time

    Construction Laborer supports heavy civil crews by performing a variety of physical tasks on infrastructure and site development projects, including roads, utilities, and earthwork. This role assists with site preparation, material handling, trenching, grading, and cleanup while following project plans and supervisor direction. The Laborer helps maintain a safe and organized job site by adhering to company and OSHA safety standards and properly using hand and power tools. They work collaboratively with operators, foremen, and other crew members to meet daily production goals and project deadlines.
